SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE - ECRC Partner, Observatoire de la Finance is organising an event on 25-26 October 2007, in Krakow, Poland for all those NGO's and Providers of financial services that want to better understand the role of large enterprises in democracy and society.
THE ROLE OF LARGE ENTERPRISES IN DEMOCRACY AND SOCIETY

This is a SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE organised by the Observatoire de la Finance, Jagiellonian University and University of Fribourg is open to registration.

DATE AND PLACE: 25th-26th October 2007, Krakow, Poland

SUBJECT: How large multinationals cope with their “non-market environment” (public bodies and social actors) in Europe, in particular in the New Member States of the European Union? Responding to the law and more broadly to social concerns and expectations, influencing the law and – when necessary - looking for ways to accommodate the law, are the three main options open to business in contemporary society.
