A number of major national and international consumer organisations, bankers’ associations, welfare organisations and public interest groups supported the Conferences. Repeated requests to the European Commission in the last three years have failed. But this will not interrupt the continuity of these events. It will bring together research and practice as an international meeting point in social finance. Participants can expect to learn much about financial products, social effects, ethical issues, banking structures and supervision from different countries in the world.
