“Ethics, Finance & Responsibility” organised by the Geneva based Observatoire des Finances will among others concentrate also on Private Equity : Can it Be Socially Responsible?
Paul Dembinski writes to ECRC

“In a few weeks the annual meeting on “Ethics, Finance & Responsibility” will take place in Geneva and Bossey. You will find the detailed programme in the appendix. May I draw your attention that the meeting this year will be inaugurated by a public session during which the winners of the Robin Cosgrove Prize, Ethics in Finance 2006/2007 will be announced. The next day, on the 15th, we will also have a public session in the morning in honour of the late professor Emilio Fontela. I warmly welcome you both to the meeting and to this public opening ceremony. I invite you to send us back the appended registration form. Already today, I am able to announce with joy that thanks to supports received the new edition of the Robin Cosgrove Prize, Ethics in Finance will start in early 2008. Please let it know to those who could be interested in submitting an essay (www.robincosgroprize.org). For more than 10 years, the Observatoire de la Finance, a non profit foundation, has been working in the field of ethics, finance and the common good, which I am sure is important also to you. So I do hope that we can count on your sympathy and possibly on your support for the next years as the task seems to become every day more demanding.”
