Inclusion helped ECRC organise the responsible credit conference in London in November 2008, they are now organising a conference in Liverpool aimed at helping people to find and keep a job…. Crucial for any indebted person that has instalments to pay….
16-17 June 2009, ACC, Liverpool
Unemployment is rising at its fastest rate since 1981, and 2.2 million people are now out of work. Meeting this challenge means changes in service delivery as well as additional resources. Government is accelerating its devolution agenda to local communities and, through the DWP Commissioning Strategy to providers, and there will also be new responsibilities placed on local partnerships to tackle child poverty.
This year’s Welfare to Work UK Convention has been designed to help you meet these challenges. With 80 sessions, the Convention delivers the latest information on Government policy, highlights the crucial issues for local partners, and showcases what really works on the ground.
With an expected 1,000 delegates and our largest ever exhibition this year's Convention will give you an unrivalled opportunity to network with the widest possible range of stakeholders.
The Convention programme is now available and there will now also be a Welcome Drinks Reception, sponsored by Fusion 21, at Liverpool Town Hall for those delegates travelling up to Liverpool on the evening of Monday 15 June. If you’re travelling up the night before the convention please come and join us for a drink between 19.00 and 20.30.
