Risks for EU consumers: The Financial Services User Group (FSUG), stakeholder group within DG Internal Market have published their 2012 Risk Outlook for consumers in the current regulatory environment. Here attached is the FSUG new “2012 Risk Outlook” which details the risks for users (consumers and retail investors) of financial services in the current economic climate and “new economic paradigm”. It calls for additional tough supply side interventions, stresses the need for a more proactive and responsive regulation, a “follow the money” approach to monitoring sectors, the desire to see an early warning system for MS representatives etc...
